Cozy layout with something like 25 seats. A big display of coffee cups behind the bar. Classical music in the background but too soft to get an ID. Premium location on a main road to the park, but the entrance to the building was a bit hard to spot. No Wi-Fi and also too dimly lit for Japanese study.. Pretty good coffee, but not much of it for the price. I feel like a low four stars overall, but mostly as a coffee shop and probably higher as a meeting place.

I love this shop’s pancake. The texture was so soft and tender, and the coffee was so nice. I chose the terrace seat because it was crowed inside. Pet was allowed for terrace seat.

I've been to elegant coffee shops all through Europe. And this is the closest thing I have found to a fine European coffee shop in Tokyo. The atmosphere, design and decor. The elegant dishware. An excellent selection of single source and blend coffees. A well trained and educated staff. All come together to make this coffee shop a relaxing, exquisite, yet unpretentious experience. No surprise this shop has been here for 40 years!
